Ozkat is a producer/drummer who moved to Leeds to study a degree in Jazz at Leeds Conservatoire. After graduating they took time to find their sound by making use of their self-taught multi-instrumentalism, love of music production and Jazz degree. Their debut single, Ilu was written, recorded, performed, and mixed by Oz in their West Yorkshire bedroom. Drawing inspiration from artists as eclectic as Aphex Twin, Mark Guiliana and Joe Hisaishi, Ozkat balances intricate composition with an appreciation for experimental jazz production. They currently drum for artist Romy Taylor and continue to write and self-produce for themself and others.
